Help Create Great Futures for Kids

Great futures start with you! At the Boys & Girls Club of Pasadena, we’re committed to empowering local youth through fun after-school programs that foster academic success, healthy lifestyles, and character and leadership development. Since 1937, with the help of over 400 volunteers and dedicated community partners, we’ve been shaping the next generation of leaders.

Volunteers are the heart of what we do, making a real impact by supporting our mission in a variety of ways. Whether you’re assisting behind the scenes, helping at special events, or working directly with children, every contribution helps build great futures for kids.

Here are just a few ways you can get involved:

  • Homework support during PowerHour sessions
  • Coaching for athletic and recreational programs
  • Leading creative projects for our annual CREATES Art Contest
  • Teaching computer coding and animation skills
  • Mentoring at-risk teens to provide guidance and encouragement
  • Assisting with career planning and skill development workshops
  • Tutoring youth in various school subjects
  • And much more!

If you’re passionate about giving back to the community and want to support affordable after-school care in Pasadena, we’d love to hear from you! Connect with our Community Engagement Coordinator, Michael Fenn, via email or at (559) 779-2441 to learn more about volunteer opportunities. Together, we can inspire the youth of today to create the bright futures of tomorrow!
