Monday  Education & Career Development
"I love The Boys & Girls Club. I've made lots of friends here. But my favorite part is the staff and volunteers who help me with my homework. My mom doesn't know english so she can't help me at home. But Miss Jasmine sits with me when I don't know the answer to a question and we work on it together. I want to be an engineer when I grow up because i like to build things."

Tuesday  Character & Leadership Development
"Because of the Club, I'm able to be in the K9 youth alliance dog training program. I am one of the first club members to do this and wanted to be a part of it because I want to help dogs have a better life and be happy. I'm more responsible because I'm taking care of a dog. And because I have to be at the Pasadena Humane Society every day, i'm learning how important it is to be on time."

Wednesday  Health & Life Skills
"I like coming to the Club because i have a lot of fun. Get fit is my favorite part. It's fun. It's exercise and i feel good and healthy after I play in the gym. The club helps me learn and I've learned that exercising every day is good for me. I want to be a professional soccer player and I've learned that I need to put in a lot of work and have to practice every day."

Thursday  Arts
"I like coming to The Boys & Girls Club because the staff knows me so well. Im really into art and they encourage me to draw and let me express myself. I love art because there are no rules. You can do anything you want, you can come up with your own style, and you can draw your imagination. In particular I love anime and when I grow up i want to be an artist, animator, and video game designer.

Friday  Sports, Fitness & Recreation
"My favorite part of the club is being on the swim team. You have to commit to it but it is fun and it makes you feel important. Coach teaches us to be leaders, pushes us to be our best, and won't let us give up. I want to be a dentist when I grow up because i want to help people. The club motto is "Great Futures Start Here" and I see my great future starting here."
