Thank You to Our ROSE Workers

A bouquet of thanks to this summer’s crop of ROSE Workers, who were on hand during our eight-week summer session to be the extra eyes, ears, and hands for our staff. These 10 employees helped run activities, prepare lunches, and monitor different areas of Club, while playing games and having fun with our members.

The City of Pasadena’s ROSE (Rewarding Opportunities in Summer Employment) Program is a locally funded initiative administered by the Department of Human Services and Recreation that provides Pasadena youth, ages 16 to 21, with enriching and constructive summer work experiences. Its goal is to introduce youth to employers who will positively impact their future by providing mentorship, resume building, work-related skill development, and exposure to various career industries.
