Twenty lucky members of the Boys & Girls Club of Pasadena partnered with Pasadena Police officers for a “Shop with a Cop” shopping spree at Target in east Pasadena this month. The event was made possible by Target, a longtime supporter of nonprofit youth programs, and the Pasadena Rotary Club which donated $2,000 dollars to the program. Each Club member was given a $100 Target gift card and was partnered with a uniformed officer from the police department who helped them pick out back to school clothes and supplies. This was the first year the department participated in this event, which helps kids develop confidence and be more prepared as they return to school. Thank you Pasadena Rotary Club, Target, and the Pasadena Police Department!
