MLK Day of Service at M-S

In conjunction with the national Day of Service honoring Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s birthday, 22 members of our Mackenzie-Scott Branch spent a Saturday morning beautifying the neighborhood surrounding that branch. After reflecting on and discussing a quote by King—“Life’s most persistent and urgent question is: what are you doing for others?”—our kids gathered up trash bags and other supplies and completed a one-mile circuit around the Clubhouse, picking up trash along the way.
