The Boys & Girls Club of Pasadena has served as a positive leader in our community since 1937 to address the needs of kids. Even today, we touch the lives of over 3000 kids annually who need us most. The mission of the Boys & Girls Club of Pasadena is to enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens.
The crisis facing America’s kids remains paramount. In the U.S., 11 million kids and teens leave school unsupervised and unsafe, with no place to go every afternoon. Join us and other Boys & Girls Clubs nationwide–along with celebrity spokesperson, Shaquille O’Neal–by becoming a member for life of the Boys & Girls Clubs Alumni & Friends Club. By joining, you and our friends, partners and advocates across the globe will come together to support America’s kids who need us most. For every new member who joins the Alumni & Friends Club in September, a Boys & Girls Club membership will be donated for a kid in need (up to $50,000)!
As a Club Alumni and current Club Youth Development Professional, I have witnessed the impact the Clubs have on youth and believe in the positive difference one person can make–let alone the difference the 16 million Boys & Girls Clubs Alumni can make! If you attended a Boys & Girls Club–or if you’re a friend of the Club–join me in becoming a registered Alumni & Friends Club member at www.BGCalum.org.
Together we can open doors to great futures for the millions of kids and teens in America that still need the guidance, mentoring, and programs the Clubs offer. See you there!
