BGCP Volunteer Becomes Eagle Scout

Congratulations are sent out to Ben Harrison, son of Boys & Girls Club board member Berkeley Harrison, who recently became an Eagle Scout, the highest honor a scout can achieve. During his journey toward this achievement, Ben stopped at our Performing Arts Center to complete a Done in a Day event as part of his Eagle Scout service project. Ben lead a group of 15 scouts and five adults in repainting the classroom at the PAC, removing two tree stumps and sprucing up planter boxes with ice plants, and installing steel coils to improve safety around the adjacent brick amphitheater. Congratulations Ben…and to his brother William, who ALSO became an Eagle Scout after completing a project at Children’s Hospital, Los Angeles.
