All For One and One For All at LEGO Competition

The Boys & Girls of Pasadena participated in its first F.L.L. (First LEGO League) Robotics competition on November 23 at La Canada High School. A team of eight members from our Slavik Branch competed in the event, which helps introduce youth to the fun and excitement of science and technology. The program gives kids the opportunity to program an autonomous robot using LEGO Mindstorms and to find innovative solutions to problems, along with espousing teamwork, friendly competition, and gracious professionalism. The First Lego League is a worldwide phenomenon, with more than 25,000 teams in 80 countries around the globe.
