A Small Donation Makes a Big Difference

Our Keystone club partnered this month with Pasadena’s Door of Hope—an organization that helps homeless families in transition—for a community service project, spending their time collecting an item often overlooked—but always needed—during donation drives. Our teen leaders led a toilet paper drive, storing up rolls of this bathroom necessity for several weeks before delivering it to Door of Hope on April 17.

“I wish everyone could have seen the faces of those who received this gift,” said Mackenzie-Scott Teen Director Maerice Simpson. “The residents were so grateful for this small necessity that we overlook every day, and our kids said it felt great to be a blessing to others.”
